Best known for their overt clothing adverts on billboards and in magazines featuring Drew Barrymore, Anna Nicole Smith and catapulting many a super model: Claudia Schiffer (above), Naomi Campbell, Carla Bruni, to name a few. Pop culture embraced the strong direction of the designers, and Ellen Von Unwerth, a little known photographer at the time, became hot property in the fashion world sending out powerful B+W images.
This combination of fashion styling, striking designs, a strong visual focus, and good timing all influenced Guess? becoming the hottest jeans in the 80's, directing denim back into the realms of fashion.
Having celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2004, Guess? have continued their success and broadened their global market, venturing into fragrance; establishing their Womens fragrance in spring of 2005, and in spring of 2006 launching the Mens eau de toilette.
